I took this picture the same day as I took Blue Heron, 1 and 2.  I like this little swallow sitting on a fence at the fish hatchery.  She's so sweet and fluffy that she even makes barbed wire seem nice.  I like her dark eyes and the soft light grazing the top of her head.  It was a warm Easter morning, the beginning of spring, and all of the creatures who had been slugging along through the winter were suddenly zooming around.  The whole place was electric with the sweet smell of spring and bird and frog and turtle romance.  This bird's partner was off to the side a little.  I didn't get him into the shot.
