I took this picture on the beach at Andy's Way on Great Salt Pond.  I took it in late September.  I'd just been swimming again.  I was wearing a wet bathing suit again.  The light was beautiful again and working toward that coppery golden color again. 

My friend Joannie's husband Mack had died unexpectedly the month before this picture was taken.  He was a wonderful painter, and his work is still for sale in Jamestown and Block Island.  Some fine folks have been working hard to make sure he's remembered.  Lots of artists donate pictures that are sold to raise money for a scholarship in his name.  This is the picture that I gave and I named it Freedom, partly with good wishes for Mack but especially for his wonderful wife, who didn't lose an artist as we had done, but her husband and the father of her children.  So Freedom.  This is their picture and my wish for both of them.
